Stacey believes in working alongside families in order to achieve their full potential. Using a child-centred approach to therapy, she hopes to develop skills that contribute towards their best outcome. She understands the importance of engaging the whole family with therapy, building skills that will enable those close to the child to overcome breakdowns in communication. Stacey has undergone advanced levels of training in order to provide high quality speech pathology services. Along the way, she has been able to gain many years of diverse experience. Having graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 1997, Stacey has developed skills in the areas of assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children relating to speech sound disorders, language disorders, hearing impairments, literacy, stuttering and feeding.
Stacey’s rich background of experience comes from working alongside many institutions both in and around Bundaberg, including Queensland Health, Disability Services Queensland and Education Queensland. A proud resident of Bundaberg, Stacey is now registered as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
